Well, when the world's greatest sportsmen and women come together on your doorstep it would be rude not to go wouldn't it.
We loved the Olympics but it's the Paralympics that are proving to be truly inspirational.
We've also discovered that the Communist countries (China, Cuba) have the cheeriest national anthems, Brazil's sounds like it should be the overture to a ballet and Iran's is surprisingly chirpy.
