SOURCE Awards - The Results

Well.....what an evening.  So good in fact that it's taken us this long to write about it.

We were delighted to get a special Highly Commended for breaking boundaries taking sustainable fashion into new areas.  A wonderful recognition of our ethical menswear.  Woo too.

The brilliant Safia Minney of fair trade fashion company People Tree was a well deserved winner of the Outstanding Contribution award.  Few have done as much as she has over the last decade to provide market access for poor producers and show that fair trade fashion can also be, well, fashion.  She's an inspiration to us.

Livia Firth won Sustainable Style Icon.  Her Green Carpet Challenge (where she wears sustainable fashion every time she walks down the red carpet with her film star husband Colin) is only one way in which she promotes sustainability.  Mind you, we think that if Colin wore some of our shirts he could be in with a shot of winning the award next year.  Though one can't help but think their trophy table is already quite full.

And then there were others, too many to mention.  Some we knew, some were new to us.  A full list of winners is here - all are worth looking up.

Tamsin LeJeune, Director Ethical Fashion Forum & Sarah Ditty, Editor SOURCE Intelligence present the awards
